About

Spoon & Hearth is a personal project, born from a simple truth: I love food, and I believe eating well shouldn’t be complicated.

There’s no team behind this blog and no marketing department — just me, sharing the kind of healthy recipes I actually want to eat: high in protein, low on added sugar, and simple enough for a busy weeknight.

What you’ll find here

  • High-protein meals that keep you full without feeling heavy.
  • No-added-sugar treats sweetened with fruit instead of syrups and honey.
  • Quick, realistic recipes with short ingredient lists and clear steps.

What “no added sugar” means here

No added sugar means no white or brown sugar, honey, maple syrup or other syrups. Any sweetness comes from whole fruit like bananas and berries. When a recipe uses packaged ingredients like canned tomatoes, yogurt or nut butter, I choose versions with no sugar on the label.

About the protein numbers

Each recipe lists an estimated amount of protein per serving, based on standard nutrition data for the ingredients. Your numbers will vary with the brands and portions you use, so treat them as a helpful guide rather than an exact figure. Recipes on this blog are for general information and are not medical or nutrition advice.

Every recipe is carefully researched and written to be easy to follow. As I cook my way through them, I’ll keep adding my own notes, tweaks, and photos from my kitchen — so this blog will keep growing with real experience over time.

If you try a recipe, I’d love to hear how it went. Leave a comment or find Spoon & Hearth on Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here worth cooking tonight.
